Pattern and Decal Design

Shape is only one part of a dinnerware collection. Our decal team develops artwork for melamine products and coordinates the design with printing and production requirements.

You can provide final artwork, brand guidelines, reference images or a general creative direction. We review the printable area, layout, color direction and relationship between pieces before preparing files for sampling.

How We Review a New Product Concept

1. Understand the Use and Market

We begin with the product type, target customer, destination market, intended use, target price and estimated volume.

2. Review the Shape

Drawings, samples, dimensions and reference images are checked to determine whether an existing mold can be used or a new one is required.

3. Develop the Decoration

Artwork, color, finish and branding are matched to the shape and production method.

4. Make and Review Samples

Samples provide the basis for approval of the product appearance and specification. Revisions are addressed before bulk production is released.

5. Transfer the Design to Production

The approved sample and written requirements guide manufacturing and inspection. Our quality control process covers the main checks from incoming material to outgoing goods.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you work from a physical sample?

Yes. We can review a physical sample together with dimensions and other project requirements. Any new mold remains subject to a technical feasibility assessment.

Do we need a new mold for a custom design?

Not always. An existing mold can be customized with new colors, patterns, finishes and branding. A new mold is required when the shape or product specification itself is unique.

Can you help if our artwork is not production-ready?

Yes. Our decal team can review reference artwork and advise what is needed to prepare it for sampling and printing.
